About Malaysian Society of Epilepsy
The official name of the society is PERSATUAN EPILEPSI MALAYSIA (Malaysian Society of Epilepsy).
The Society is managed by a Council, which is elected amongst Ordinary
and Life members and its responsibilities consist of the administration
of the business affairs and property of the Society in accordance with
the Rules and By-Laws and the general policy laid down by annual
general meeting.
Objectives
- To be of service to people with epilepsy and others interested in medical science, public health and social care related to epilepsy.
- To establish a register for people with epilepsy in Malaysia.
- To provide information and advice to those living with epilepsy.
- To liaise with international organizations interested in epilepsy.
About the Website
The Malaysian Society of Epilepsy has developed this Website
with the purpose of establishing an online community for
doctors/specialists, patients, their families and the general public.
The website provides educational information and resources
about epilepsy and it is the Society’s hope that people living with
epilepsy and their relatives and friends and other interested users
find valuable disease management tools and other useful information to
support them in their daily lives.
The Society wish to update the website regularly and at the
same time involve the epilepsy community in Malaysia and therefore
encourage users to contribute and share your stories, news, information
and other invaluable content for the benefit of the rest of the
community, and please feel free to give us your comments and feedback
as well.
The Malaysian Society of Epilepsy respects your request for
privacy and will not publish names of individuals, who has expressed a
desire to stay anonymous.
The Malaysian Society of Epilepsy hopes that this website is
