My brother is 45 yrs old , a mentally retarded man with frequent seizures. He stays home all the time, require a caretaker to be at home with him at all times. As a backup plan or as a 'vacation' plan for the caretaker, my family went for a mini hunt within Klang Valley and Petaling Jaya on April 2010 , trying to locate a care home which has some experience in handling epileptic folks.

On our first attempt, after seacrhing thru, we found the following home quite OK ...,they can do a short term min 1 mouth stay, or long term stay. If any of you have better places to recommend, please share with me. thanks ..

One of the suitable care home is TNH Nursing Home , the person in charge is Miss Theena Benjamin, her hp is 016-285-8609, 012-340-7712. She has 2 homes now. One is for the elderly folks. The other one has a mixture of old folks and the special children. At the time of visit, there were 3 epileptic residents. Theena has some experience handling them. She knows the epileptic medicines as well, and some common senses on how , what to do with the epilepsy.

As I said earlier, I am trying to find a better environment, better care home for those special needs children, if you have other places in mind, please share , thankssssssss !
